Intermediate Food Hygiene

Course Information

This course is aimed at those working in all food related businesses at supervisory level.

Who Should Attend

  • Food Business supervisors
  • Owners/Managers of SME food related businesses.

What they will learn

All facets of food production, processing, storage, transport, wholesaling, catering and retailing

Course Content

  • Monitoring food hygiene standards
  • On the job training
  • How to effectively supervise food handlers on hygiene issues
  • How to carry out hygiene audits
  • Standards of personal hygiene
  • Hazard analysis programmes
  • How to formulate and write hygiene policies and instructions.

Assessment

Multiple choice examination. Successful candidates will recieive a CIEH certificate.

 

Level 2 Food Safety

Course Information

This course is aimed at those whose work involves food and drink, this course will highlight the responsibilities for safeguarding the health of consumers. However, all people involved with food preparation, cooking and serving food or drink will benefit from this course.

Who Should Attend

Those who are involved in the preparation of food and drink in any capacity from domestic to industrial.

What They Will Learn

The basic fundamentals of safety and hygiene for food and drink
