Course Information
This course aims to raise your awareness of safeguarding issues, equipping you to recognise when an individual may be at risk of abuse, or being abised. You will learn the steps you should take if you have any suspicions, concerns, or evidence of abuse, so that the individual can be protected and the situation dealt with efficieintly and effectively.

- Legislation
- Who may be involved
- Types and symptoms of abuse and how to recognise them
- What action to take - politics and procedures, whistleblowing
- Impacts of abuse on the abused indivudual
- Impacts of abuse on others (including the abuser)
