Working with Mike and the team at eduk8 on the opening of our Breck Road store was an exercise in true customer service. We wanted something different for this store, that matched our specific recruitment and was outside of the Asda norm as 79% of new recruits had previously been unemployed. The team were incredibly flexible and responsive to our ever changing numbers and dates and this was always with a huge smile and an understanding of our schedules. I thoroughly enjoyed the training especially the basic life support practical, something I had never done before and feel everyone should know. I also found the medication introduction training interesting as it gives an insight into the different situations and dangers that don’t initially cross your mind. It’s helped me feel more comfortable carrying out my job as I feel i’m a lot more prepared for certain situations such as when CPR may need to be carried out or even useful knowledge such as how more than 14 units of alcohol should not be consumed to help bring awareness for those I care for. I enjoy working in the Health and Social sector as everyday is different and you know you can make a difference. The tutors who provide the training, in my case, John are very passionate and and it was heart-warming to know why the training they carry out was particularly important to them and engages you even more.

eduk8 delivered a 2 day Paediatric First Aid course. All the staff commented on how good the First Aid training was. The man who delivered it went down a right storm. ome of the staff have worked for us for 20+ years and have said it's the best training they have been on.
